answering Linda's call

I am hard at work on my sock-o-rama right now. I have sewn the ends in on the Aunt Jean's Socks of Many Colors and just need to mail it to Aunt Jean. I have also started Grandma Ferguson's Big Girl Red Socks. Coal black toes, heels, and cuffs with a barn red foot and leg. I'll have to actually take pictures of it in the near future.

After that, I'm thinking about starting a shawl (after I finish the SOS socks, that is) that is a candle pattern. If you join Ravelry, you can go to my favorites and find the recipe thataway.

So, what is everyone else up to?

Whatcha working on?

I'm at the office and I can't force myself to do any work. I should go to jail and see a client, but why go today? I keep telling myself he'll still be there tomorrow...

Anyway, I decided that it would be much more fun to see what everyone has been up to and see what you are working on since it probably wouldn't be good for my image to sit in my office and knit. I went to the Merc with my cousin on Saturday so of course any money we received for christmas was immediately converted into wool. Naturally, I have a bad case of cast-on-itis and want to start those new projects immediately.

So please share... what are you working on??

a giggle to share

I know that I have never seen the Yarn Harlot in person (much to my dismay), but then I found this on YouTube and now I must see her the next time she comes somewhat close to Ohio.

If you have a question about blogging...

... feel free to call me. I will be happy to make housecalls if you think you need help, just give me a buzz on my cell phone.

So, on to knitting news: I've started a new pair of socks. I know, surprise, surprise, surprise. I really love making the toe-up variety and have gotten questions on how to start them. The man I took classes from (Don) has a his own blog and I have put the link in the sidebar. His blog is called Yarmando and the instructions to make the toe-up socks is on his sidebar. They are done on magic-loop, which is a great way to knit in the round, if you haven't tried it already.

If you need help with the magic-loop, you can give me call on that also. We can make my housecall a two-fer.

ITs me for real this time.

Ok I fixed my problem and now i am on as myself. Thanks for the web address legalknitter. I just loved those. Hopefully i will be able to go to jitterz Monday for a bit. I still think this is so great. Driving bus today for 15 hours maybe I can finish the Christmas sweater and actually wear it on Christmas.
